Tinsel Trail is a free, community-wide event where businesses purchase a Christmas tree on the Tinsel Trail in downtown Athens and decorate it in the theme of their business. Proceeds from the event are shared between the AAWIC scholarship fund and the Classic Center Cultural Foundation's scholarship fund.
